Cambridge English Exams for Schools

Cambridge English for Schools exams are designed to motivate students at primary and secondary school. They are a way for your students to build confidence step by step.

Topics and tasks are chosen to appeal to students’ interests, and our exams cover all four language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking. This helps your students develop the skills they need to make friends, study and work in English in the future.

Cambridge English: Young Learners (YLE)	Pre-A1, A1, A2	Three fun, activity-based tests designed to motivate children and show how they progress in learning English.
Cambridge English: Key (KET) for Schools	A2	Shows that students can use everyday English at a basic level.
Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET) for Schools	B1	Shows that students have mastered the basics.
Cambridge English: First (FCE) for Schools	B2	Gives students the confidence to use their English in the real world.

When students are leaving school, we have further exams to help them take their English to the highest level:
